Hello Chalmers Leopards,
My name is Amy Allen. I am very excited to serve as the Principal of Chalmers Elementary. This will be my 19th year in education, all here at GISD. Prior to my current role as Chalmers Principal, I have worked with students in grades K-8, taught 3rd and 4th grade, was an instructional coach, and was an Assistant Principal.
I have spent my entire life in Gainesville and I am a proud graduate of GISD. I am excited to share my passion for this district with everyone at Chalmers. I live in Gainesville with my husband and 3 daughters.
Parents, students, and staff my door is always open and I am always here to assist you with any needs. It’s going to be a great year at Chalmers Elementary!
